Red Carpet Reminders: 2011 Billboard Awards Edition
At first I wasn’t feeling Rihanna’s Billboard Awards look, but that was until I got a good look at it. LOVE IT! It’s absolutely something I would wear. Classic, fresh, summery, and just all around fab! And with the siren red hair? Girrrlllll, you better work!
But, in looking at Riri’s Max Azria suit, I was reminded of someone else’s white-hot pant suit: Jessica Simpson, in Armani, at the 2003 MTV Video Music Awards.
Now, I like Ri’s look much better, but as was the case with Jessica, it was a major departure from both of their regular red carpet looks. Their hair style was even the same! It’s nice to see stars switch it up on the red carpet. I applaud Ms. Fenty for her move. She’s fearless!

Rihanna Wins At Twitter
I’ll admit it. Before RiRi took over her official Twitter account, I thought she was devoid of personality. Boy was I wrong! On Twitter, she regularly delivers the most epic one-liners I’ve seen from any celeb. And she aint censoring nothing. So, if you’re offended by profanity, steer clear of Ms. Fenty!
The latest episode in the RiRi Chronicles, was after news broke that she and Chris Brown were following each other on Twitter. (Yes, slow news day).
Some may think she’s out of line and immature, and they could be right. But I think it’s refreshing and absolutely hilarious! Seriously, if you don’t read her timeline/replies on the regular, you. are. missing. out.
And she’s absolutely right. It’s just Twitter. But even if she did get back with him, that’s their biz, not ours. Let them live their lives. Damn!

Pixie Lott Confirmed for Rihanna’s Full UK Tour?
I touched on this in my last Pixie post, but MTV UK is reporting that Pixie’s appearance at the Newcastle show is not a one-off event. Click Music reported the news about the Newcastle show with the caveat that “it’s not yet been revealed whether this means she’s supporting on the whole tour.”
Now, in a post-Brit awards article, MTV UK has gone on record as stating that Pixie will indeed support Miss Rihanna for her entire UK tour. Pixie confirms this much on her official website and MySpace.
In other Rihanna news- although Pixie Lott walked away without a gong at The BRIT Awards, she has still been announced to join Ri’ on her UK tour in May.
The tour will kick off in Birmingham on May 7th and will end in Glasgow on May 20th.
