GRAMMYs Hair Observation: Great Minds Think Alike?

I was looking at some pictures from the GRAMMYs and some of their after parties and saw a recurring hair theme for a handful of stars. See for yourself: I love it. Not only because I like these three ladies, but also because the ‘do looks great on all 3 of them!

< begin rant > I’m gonna preface this with the following message: I know Breezy messed up big time. We all know this. However, unlike some, I don’t think he should be banned from creating/sharing music for the rest of his life. He def lost some cool points with me for roughin’ up my girl Rihanna, but the bottom line is that he’s paying his debt to society. He makes great music, and can dance his ass off, so I want to see more!

When Charlie Sheen (who is middle-aged, and with a history of abuse) got busted recently, I didn’t see anyone calling for him to get fired from his job. No one was organizing boycotts of CBS or his show. No one was drafting letters to people who do business with him, urging them to terminate their sponsorships. (Though Hanes did pull his ads, they were the only ones) People seemed to accept his actions as normal and move on without outrage. They couldn’t do that with a 19 year old man who has only messed up once? That’s all I needed to throw my support behind Chris. People need love the most when they deserve it the least.

I know many won’t agree with me, and that’s cool. This site is title “Just My Faves”, which means MY faves, and not necessarily yours ;) < / end rant >

Now, that I’ve gotten that out of the way, let me talk about something positive: new Breezy tunes! Looks like Chris is looking to get his grown and sexy on with the release of a new mixtape titled In My Zone on Valentine’s Day. He jumped on Ustream with Kevin McCall the other night to give fans a 25 minute preview. Watch it below:

I’m diggin’ most of the tracks he shared and Chris looks happy. He’s in his element in the studio. It seems like the studio and the stage are the only places he feels he can be free. Will definitely be copping the mixtape. The last album I bought was Chris’ Graffiti, and that’s saying a lot, as I don’t buy many CDs.

I haven’t seen any specific places where this mixtape will be available, but I’m sure word will spread in the coming 2 weeks.
