Willa Ford Cast in New Sci-Fi Movie
According to a newly released press release, Dreamfly Productions will begin production soon on a new sci-fi movie starring Willa Ford, who happens to be another one of my longtime faves. October 26th is the starting film date for the psycho thriller Minuteman.
Minuteman is a sci-fi thriller in the tradition of Bourne Identity and Manchurian Candidate. The film revolves around Captain Lance Deakin who, after returning to civilian life as a Texas rancher, is attacked by members of his former Special Forces unit. Brainwashed by the military and turned into killing machines, Lance remembers their top secret missions in Iraq only as Minuteman, the hyper-violent video game they used to play while on tour.
With Lance desperately trying to piece together what actually happened, his former comrades are closing in on him and his fiancee to take them out. Lance is quickly running out of time to uncover the truth and save the woman he loves.
Others cast, include Riley Smith, Barry Corbin, Christian Kane, Marshall Teague and Keith Stone. No word just yet on what role Willa will be playing, but there appears to be a nicely updated blog on production and movie aspects on the the Dreamfly Productions website which states that she is the movie’s leading female role. So, I would guess she is playing the role of Lance’s fiancee?

Kristinia DeBarge Partners with Wet Seal

Pixie Lott Wins Best UK & Ireland New Act
Pixie Lott was just named best new act in the UK and Ireland, and will be a nominee for Best European at the 2009 MTV Europe Music Awards next month in Berlin. She beat out Florence And The Machine, La Roux, The Saturdays and Tinchy Stryder in the process.For more info on the EMAs, visit the event website.

Pixie Lott to Play Capital FM’s Jingle Bell Ball
Just like the title says, Pixie Lott has been added to the lineup of Capital FM’s annual Jingle Bell Ball. the show will take place December 5th at London’s O2 arena.
