The lovely Pixie Lott recently did an interview with Female First.

To anyone who hasn’t heard of you yet, how would you describe your sound?
Soulful pop with elements of rn’b and retro but still kept very contemporary and fresh – a good combination!
Tell us a bit about the inspiration behind your foxy new record…
I take influences from all different great musicians.
If you were going to give us just one song of yours to listen to so that you would become our new favourite singer, what would it be?
“Cry Me Out” as I love to sing it live, I can really get into the character of it.
If you could cover another musician’s song, what would it be?
“Love Come Down” by Evelyn “Champagne” King
And can you sum up your good self in just five words?
My friend who I’m sitting with now says, “I’m funny, spontaneous, kind, dazed and manic” haha!
